Athlete Spotlight: Selena Frazier
We got the chance to interview the star of the bowling team, Selena Frazier.
In her final year of bowling, we asked Selena to reflect about her overall experience through the past four years.
Question 1: How do yo feel about this being you last year of bowling?
Answer: It stinks that this is going to be my last year, and I’m going to miss it. but I’m also thankful for all the success and everything that I’ve learned from it.
Question 2: What is it like to have your senior friends join you for your final season?
Answer: I absolutely love them, it means a lot to know that they would sacrifice their time to help me have an actual team. It means a lot to have them with me, they make it more fun and always encouraged me during our matches.
Question 3: How do you think the overall team did?
Answer: I think we did pretty good considering that it was everyone’s first time playing this sport. It was really cool to watch them learn and improve.
Question 4: What was your favorite part of this season?
Answer: My favorite part was helping establish a team that will hopefully be around for a while.
Question 5: What are you going to miss the most?
Answer: I’m going to miss all of it to be honest, the friends I made, the competition, and just bowling in general.
Question 6: What was your best experience throughout your 4 years of bowling?
Answer: I would say it’s between when I bowled a 300 in a game, or the time that I placed 6th in the state.
Question 7: How would you describe your personal growth throughout your career?
Answer: I’ve gained so much confidence in my own game, and I’ve performed constantly over these 4 years. I’m excited to see how that will help me in my future.
