Importance Of Service Projects

Hey ODCS, its Mark Yakobchuk here I will be talking about how service projects are important. Service projects are important to your team because you get closer with your team and friends. This is important because it teaches a great lesson about serving others.  It is very important to have a mindset to do it for God’s glory and not man kind, because Christ served for you. 1 Samuel 12:24 says “be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.”  Service projects also impact the people you are serving.  Remember why we serve, it is not just because you have to or that the team made you, but we serve to be an example of Jesus Christ.  So get out there and get involved in your communities!
