The Empty Nets: Nate Starts His Own Podcast!

Open Door Senior Nate Marrero started his own podcast The Empty Nets. Nate has had the confidence and the passion to start podcasting on the Christian life. He has been wanting to start podcasting for a while and now he finally had an opportunity to give it a shot. “I’ve been saying I was going to start a podcast for 2 years and the spirit moved me to just sit down and do it so I did it without doubting.” Nate explained to that he never doubts himself nor does he doubt his passion, he encourages others to follow their passions and to go for the long run on their dreams.  “Some might not want to listen because I’m not the wisest person, and that’s fine, but I have a voice and a platform to use the gifts God has given so I’m going to do it without questions.” Nate spoke more about this on his podcast in which he encourages everyone to listen and he is doing what God has sent us to do, which is to spread the Gospel and to glorify and enjoy Him forever. 

Check out this awesome role model.  Hopefully,  it will encourage other students at Open Door to not be shy or to hide away.  Nate is looking to persuade and set an example for not only highschool students but also the lower school students.  “I encourage anyone that feels like doing so, to contact me so we can work on getting them on an episode as well. I would love to hear some more voices and testimonies.” Nate is willing to help out new podcasters and is looking for  people who are willing to hop on his podcast to share their life.
