Pre OSHAA District meet

On Saturday October 21st, the varsity Open Door Patriot squad will be competing in the OHSAA District cross country meet.

With the races now turning into to qualify or go home the energy at practices has been different. Coach Daniel tells the team “there has been a sense of quietness at practice these past few weeks, I have a feeling you guys are locked in and ready to get it done.”  The Patriots need to get top 4 to make it out of districts and they are ready to do just that. Coming into the race we are expecting to have 3 individual qualifiers Anthony Januzzi, Trevor Taylor, and Nolan Raack want to do just that. Coach Daniel told the team “If we are able to get 3 individual qualifiers then qualifying as a team will come right with that”. The Patriot boys are ready to race and are looking forward to the rest of the season. This is just the start for the Open Door Patriot squad.
